“Open Sesame!” “Abracadabra!” “Wingardium Leviosa!” Storytellers invoke magic words to cast spells and unveil the adventure. Have you already noticed that every word is magic? That you have untapped powers of communication and creation?
Haven’t you known people who say everything goes wrong for them, as they prove themselves right? Don’t you know others who declare what they want, and align their actions and outcomes with every word? If you say it and believe it long enough, it will come true, whether you like it or not. Whenever you describe yourself, others, your life, or life in general, you are declaring what you are focusing on, acting on, and becoming. Whether we are creating or whining, the words we express shape our world and our souls.
Notice every word you speak, write, listen to, and think today. Do you mean them literally? Do you respect their power? Treat your every word as magic.
