Even if you’ve seen this classic commercial, it’s a great reminder that what we see in certain environments bears no resemblance to reality.
It’s also a reminder that some revisions go too far.

Sometimes people forget that true beauty lies in the heart of each individual . Even the most physically appealing persons when they don’t feel good about themselves reflects a not so attractive attribute. I think the media has gone overboard and placed a unrealistic expectation on women. Honestly, would anyone find a skin and bones model attractive? In my real world, medically it’s called malnutrition. Women by God’s creation is already beautiful. We should create our own definition of beauty and not what the media says, after all, that’s why we have a brain , so we can think and decide for ourselves. Great post.

I watched this in a sociology class a few years ago…it really is phenomenal and I’m happy that all the behind-the-scences stuff has been exposed a bit.
